“In high school, I was exposed to a lot of different Christian groups among my friends but there was never a good Catholic group I could attend. This made me want to strengthen my personal testimony and I started going to church more for myself and encouraged my family to come with me. This helped me slowly grow in my faith. Going into college is when I really needed the Lord the most and I was so glad when I found the most amazing community of people to share my faith with and not only help me grow in my faith but help others grow in theirs as well.”

“I was raised Catholic since birth. I went to Catholic school for K-8. I went to church every Sunday with my parents. All of this is great but I never felt a deep appreciation or love for the faith until very recently here at Davis. The people that really helped me to grow in my faith I believe were the people at the Newman Center. Now I try to be the best Catholic I can be and try to love Jesus as much as I can. As a leader, I want to share that love with the rest of the people at Newman. I want to share what it has done for me in the hopes that others struggling can hopefully be helped in the same way I was.”
