Climate Change Reflection and Discussion Group

Take action to reduce your ecological footprint, the footprint of the Newman Catholic Community, and the footprint of the city of Davis by participating in this weekly discussion group at the Newman Center. We will be reflecting on climate change using The Low Carbon Diet, by David Gershon, texts from Catholic social teaching, and other writings. Our plan is for lots of practical discussion and ideas to help each other as we consider these changes in our lives.

You are welcome to join us at the Newman Center for any one or all of the discussions. We will meet on Tuesdays (beginning April 5) from 6:30-8:30 in the Newman House. A simple dinner will be provided. Below, you can find more information about any of the topics. You can also find a list of resources here.
